IAS Neha Byadwal Biography
A Journey of Hope and Perseverance
In the tough path to cracking the UPSC exam, success comes to those who never give up. Neha Byadwal, 25-year-old Rajasthan, shows us. Her story is of struggles but also triumphs. It’s inspiring, really! She faced many hurdles before finally achieving her goal of passing the UPSC exam. Through her journey, Neha teaches us about grit & determination, no matter how many times you might fail.
The Story of Two Wolves: Hope vs. Depression
At the core of Neha’s journey is a simple question: “There are two wolves fighting inside you. One is hope, & the other is depression. Which one wins?” Some people might say hope right away, while others may pick depression. Neha’s story is all about choosing hope whenever she faced tough situations.
It all began with her childhood, the obstacles she dealt with, and the strong support she got from her family. Her story isn’t just about reaching her goal but also about the life lessons learned along the way that shaped who she is.
Early Struggles and Finding Her Voice
Neha was born in Rajasthan but spent her early years in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. She lived with her grandparents in Jaipur for a while too. Speaking Hindi was tough because Rajasthani was spoken more there. But guess what? She loved school! Neha remembers always being happy at school – never cried when left there & even disliked weekends because they kept her away from learning.
However, things weren’t always easy for her. When she moved to Bhopal with her father, she went to an English-medium school. That’s when things got tricky! Understanding the lessons was hard due to her struggle with English, leading to failing fifth grade. But even then, she wouldn’t give up! Determined not to lose hope, she stuck it out in English classes & slowly improved her language skills. That spirit would later fuel her UPSC ambitions.
Adolescence: Ups and Downs
Once she tackled those initial difficulties with English, Neha shone as a bright student again! But during high school, things weren’t smooth either. In grades 11 & 12, performance dipped – and yes! She ended up in the principal’s office quite a bit. Neha likened this phase to a “trampoline” where every fall gave her the push to bounce back up.
After these ups & downs in high school, she joined DB Girls College in Raipur. Despite past struggles, boom! She topped her first year! This ignited her confidence again. Her classmates wanted help from her in studies, showing Neha that she could make a difference and that what she said mattered too! This realization boosted her confidence even more & fueled her interest in public speaking and debating.
Choosing the UPSC Path
At first, Neha wanted to be a lawyer – all about seeking justice! But then came an eye-opening moment when her dad showed her a mountain peak’s photo telling her it represented what she could achieve if only she believed in herself. He believed wholeheartedly in her potential yet warned that getting there would be challenging.
That chat inspired Neha to look at civil services as an option & off she went on this journey with family’s support by her!
Living in a big joint family—like 30 members—many were prepping for competitive exams like SSC or civil services too! This created an awesome study environment for Neha. Her dad played a huge role shaping that atmosphere for learning—even after work he’d come home not just to relax but to discuss studies over dinner! This level of dedication heavily influenced how well prepared she’d be for the UPSC exams later.
The Hard Road of UPSC Preparation
Her road was definitely bumpy on the way to success! It took four attempts before she finally passed the UPSC exam! On that first try? Not much sorrow from failing; she knew she hadn’t put enough work into it honestly. But round two was much harder because missing prelims by just two marks broke her heart. Still—not defeated—Neha stayed hopeful thinking being so close meant success was right around the corner!
In round three, while passing prelims felt great at first; during mains? Oops! Poor time management let some answers slip away unknowingly & left several questions blank—yikes—with only eight marks short of cutoff score overall! At this point though? Her dad texted simply saying “Proud of you,” which lifted up spirits tremendously reminding Neha again never to quit trying!
The Final Attempt and the Power of Family Support
Finally came along attempt number four where major changes happened in how Neha studied! With help from her younger brother—she practiced writing answers under strict timed conditions—this strategy worked wonders since he wasn’t studious yet knew how important speed was especially during exams encouraging hours into each session pushing sister faster along.
That final prep had family joining forces doing mock interviews every single day giving Neha super important confidence for real interview day!
The Sweet Taste of Success
After years spent hustling hard—it finally clicked during fourth attempt!! That results day? Pure joy erupted among family members – uncle shouting excitedly when results dropped announcing happiest moments around.
Reflecting back now on everything? Big smiles fill up neha knowing gratitude over each lesson learned alongside continued love shown through supportive teammates throughout ups downs made whole journey worthwhile turning into better versions along way!
Neha Byadwal’s tale shows hope’s power—as well as strength found through loving families besides maintaining never-give-up attitudes translating directly into inspiration shared amongst future civil servants everywhere echoing truth: Success isn’t merely destinations; it becomes real thanks lessons discovered becoming somebody new along journeys traveled instead!
